Fighting for our Community
My name is Tristan Oliff, and I’m running to be your neighbour in Parliament—because I’m tired of seeing our community left behind.
We live in a special place filled with culture, resilience and hardworking people who care for each other, and step up when times are tough. But right now, too many of us are struggling.
Out-of-control cost of living. A housing crisis. Broken transit. Overwhelmed food banks and homeless shelters. These aren’t new problems. Every year, they get worse, and every year, nothing changes. Our community is calling for help, and we're being ignored and we’re the ones keep paying the price of failed leadership.
So where's the urgency from our MP? Where’s the plan? Where’s the fight? We've seen plenty of fancy photo ops and nice words but no action.
Looking back, can we honestly say Mona Fortier has done the job we hired her to do?
Every day, I hear from people who’ve been let down: Urgent emails that never get a response. Public servants who were forced to go on strike by Fortier. Neighbours ashamed that our MP says nothing about the atrocities in Gaza. Enough is enough.
We deserve an MP who listens to our voices, always shows up for our people, and fights to deliver the coordinated solutions we need to solve our urgent local issues.
We know better is possible. Now, it’s time to make it happen. Are you with me?

We Need A Neighbour In Parliament

I'm an entrepreneur, community builder and problem solver, I believed that when something is broken, we don’t just accept it—we do everything we can to fix it.
I see the failures of our system every day. My French-Canadian and South African heritage taught me that better is always possible when we fight for it—because there is so much more that brings us together than divides us.
I’ve dedicated my life to helping people. I’ve built and run an organization that supports nonprofits and charities across Canada, working on tough issues, including homelessness prevention, climate action, and youth development.
Here in Ottawa, I’ve served on the board of community organizations fighting for a better city, and I look out for my neighbours on our local housing association.
Through it all, I’ve seen one truth over and over again: when our government fails, people and communities step up to fill the gap. But we shouldn’t have to do it alone.
As your MP, I’ll never forget who I work for. I’ll fight to make sure no one in our community is ignored or left behind and build bridges across divides to deliver action on the issues we face.
With your trust, I’m ready to be your neighbour in Parliament—to show up, listen, and deliver the change we need—for you, your family, and all of our community.
“In a time when Pierre Poilievre and his right-wing conservatives pit workers against each other and offer scapegoats instead of solutions, Tristan Oliff stands out as a leader who truly cares about creating a better future for the people of Ottawa-Vanier-Gloucester.
Having worked closely alongside Tristan, I can confidently say his lived experience, deep community roots, and personal integrity make him the compassionate and determined voice we need in Parliament.”
